ALIG, Arab Lebanese Insurance Group
In 1997, ALIG was established in Beirut by ARIG to serve the Lebanese market. Its shareholders were from Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and a minority from Lebanon. As the company grew and became profitable, the majority of the shareholders became Lebanese.
